The Role
IT Support will play a major role in ensuring that all IT infrastructure, equipment and relevant accounts and provided to employees to enable them to work productively either in the office or when working from home.
IT Support will coordinate with specialised vendors and consultants to ensure all IT infrastructure is in working condition.
The Responsibilities
Technical Assets
Provide support on asset management including access key, laptops, monitors, TV’s, casting devices, Webcams and IT-related office supplies, etc.
Provide the support on hardware, application, telephony, and peripheral products support to end users to facilitate the efficient and productive use of equipment and systems.
Setup and configuration of desktops, laptops and mobile devices for new and existing employees
Responsible for setting up or ensuring all IT and AV equipment function in common areas and for employees
Preparing workstation, hardwares for new staff
Arranging repairs, maintenance for equipment and tracking warranty information.
Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
Supporting on tracking company’s assets and asset report list including ensuring checkin and checkout processes for all equipment.
General IT Troubleshooting
Resolve IT incidents in required timeframe
Deal with external vendors (VOIP, network, etc) to resolve issues.
Software Support and Account Administration
Provide software support including the installation of commercial software packages and systems
Google account administration
Support setting up accounts for new users - InTune onboarding process
Security Equipment
Add or remove employees from finger scanning/door entry systems
Ensure functionality of webcams.
Other Tasks
Assist in identifying areas of improvement and opportunity to reduce costs whilst still meeting service and delivery requirements
Support meetups, activities and internal events as required in terms of ensuring all technical equipment are working.
Supporting paperworks in admin and IT process
Other admin tasks
On site support outside office hours (e.g. weekends, etc) for troubleshooting or setup of equipment as necessary so as to minimise downtime.
Assisting Office Manager and Admin team for tasks such as moving furniture/items, fixing furniture or small items, cabling (electrical, etc) and other minor tasks as assigned
The Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in IT-related field or relevant experience in lieu.
Proficiency in Apple and Windows operating systems, basic networking and experience in cloud services e.g. Google workspace.
Knowledge and experience of hardware/software troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Previous experience in a technical support role.
Service minded.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently, while raising issues as necessary.
Can prioritize tasks and work under pressure
Willingness to learn, adapt, and work flexible hours.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems is a plus.
Relevant certifications like Microsoft, or Cisco is a plus
Thai language proficiency is preferred
