The Role
As a Senior BI Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions to uncover valuable insights from organizational data. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll translate analytical requirements into efficient solutions. The Responsibilities
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand analytical needs.
Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Develop and maintain data models, data cubes, and data warehouses to support reporting and analytics needs.
Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
Optimize SQL queries and data retrieval processes to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in BI and data analytics technologies.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
The Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Based in Thailand with the flexibility to work onsite, offsite or remotely as a freelancer / contractor based on client requirements.
Preferably of Thai nationality or open to relocation to Bangkok or currently residing in Thailand.
