About The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, validating data sources, extracting, loading, transforming and orchestrating to build data solutions at client scale. You will provide support for data solutions and data architecture to deliver the best data outcome for our client use case.
Your expertise in data strategy will be essential for handling data quality and integrity, and you will drive collaboration as a consultant, working directly with client stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the organization and with clients in different industries to deliver customized data solutions that drive growth and optimize business processes. Additionally, you will serve as the trusted source of truth for clients.

The Responsibilities

Drive and consult our clients to ensure they will have right solutions to solve their use cases.
Understand, analyze and collect a large set of data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data semantics and metrics definitions.
Design and implement data solutions with data orchestration.
Fine-tune data queries for optimization.
Develop data models following the data architecture.
Responsible for Technical Solution design documents.
Ensure the solutions respect all the compliance and security from client, industry and market regulatory (GDPR, PDPA, HIPAA).
Support pre-sales activities and proposals delivery.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and with Solutions Architect/Tech Lead to ensure the sprint deliveries.
Develop and maintain best practice of delivering clean and compliant data pipelines.
Mentor more junior BI and Data Engineers.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data.

The Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering in BFSI.
Thai language fluency is required.
Experience in consultancy.
Experience in API calls, SQL, Python, SparkPY to build optimized ELT/ETL pipeline.
Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture.
Familiar working with Bank client engineers on data discovery from source systems
Experience with design data models to restructure source data into a reusable data model (silver)
Experience working with data and business team to define data quality rules
Experience in Databricks, data factory, Azure Dev ops , PySpark
Experience in Translate the data models into a technical specification
Work hand in hand with Bank client data engineers to implement the data models/ pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
Familiar with working with Third party consultants, client engineers and client business stakeholders to understand and document use case requirements
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and with customers.
Fast learner to appreciate the needs of various business models and industries.
Experience developing with AI agent assistant

Extra point if you have

Experience in Loan business and Data
Certified and experienced in Databricks.
Any certification in AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, and Looker.
Experience with docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in ML/AI related areas.
Worked in more than one project and with various tech stacks.
Strong knowledge of ETL orchestration tools (Databricks, Airflow …)
SI Vendor industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, data, Computer Science, or related field.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning concepts is a plus.
